Respite care is offered for parents, families and caregivers who need a break from daily routines and stressors.These services include:
- Day Service programming
- Community activities ranging from a few hours to day-long outings
- Short term residential services in a supervised apartment
- One week summer camp in Wisconsin Dells
Respite Summer Camp is offered to parents, families and caregivers who need a break from daily routines and requirements of full time care for a person with a developmental disability. Camp is a great opportunity for the person you provide care for to meet new friends, develop experiences to base future leisure time decisions upon and to gain an appreciation for the wonderful outdoor life that Wisconsin has to offer.
Campground features include cabins where 2-3 campers will be assigned with a full time coach from the camp staff. Each cabin is equipped with a bed, linen, shower, towels, and small kitchen area. The resort campground includes outdoor grills, hiking trails, swim area, campfire accommodations and picnic tables for daytime use, as well as nighttime cookouts.
Camp fee includes accommodations at the resort, meals, camp staff support, and transportation to and from the Wisconsin Dells area.
